Geospatial Leadership Role

Ergo Consulting Ltd is an independent, employee owned, professional services practice providing geospatial and electrical engineering services to both utilities and large industrial clients (predominantly focussed on electrical infrastructure). At Ergo we aspire to be New Zealand’s first choice electrical engineering consultancy.

In this role you will:

  • Work with our internal team and external clients, developing an understanding of clients needs and potential business solutions
  • Lead the delivery of innovative, industry leading solutions that provide value to our clients
  • Promote Ergo’s geospatial and asset management capabilities
  • Support Ergo in further developing our network of service providers that we can partner with for geospatial solutions
  • Support the career development of our existing team through technical leadership and on-going mentorship
  • Contribute to our team’s management and support the already outstanding team culture
  • Encourage best practice quality assurance and control.
  • Work with various geospatial and asset management software and tools

About you:

The successful candidate will also possess the following key attributes:

  • A natural leader with experience in developing new teams and supporting team members to grow their skills and capabilities
  • Demonstrated geospatial professional experience of 10 or more years, ideally with some experience in a consulting environment
  •  Have experience or knowledge of asset management practices for large infrastructure companies
  • Have a well-established professional network within the geospatial industry
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Proven experience and high level of competency with various geospatial and asset management software and tools
  • Proven experience of delivering pragmatic, quality outputs to deadlines
  • Creative and analytical thinker who can quickly understand our clients’ needs and develop solutions to suit
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with other teams from across Ergo
