Barbara Elliston Joins the Advisory Board
The development of our Advisory Board is also part of our succession plan. Barbara is an experienced company director, having served on the Boards of Transpower, Genesis and Counties Power. She currently sits on the Security and Reliability Council of the Electricity Authority as well as on the board of the Australian Solar Energy Society. Barbara is an electrical engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the power sector . Her early career was in transmission and she subsequently worked for large industrial companies and utilities. She has a growing involvement in renewable energy and also has her own start-up, promoting a solar PV water heating product. Barbara’s broad experience, knowledge of the industry and reputation should serve Ergo well as we enter the next phase of our development. We are delighted to have attracted someone of Barbara’s calibre to Ergo.
