Dawn of a new contract

Following a competitive process, Ergo has been selected to be one of Aurora new Substation panel design consultants. Aurora Energy supplies electricity to 90,000 homes, farms and businesses in Dunedin, Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes. In June the company submitted its formal application for a customised price-quality path (CPP) to the Commerce Commission.

The submission set out a proposed spend of $383m over the next three years to provide the necessary safety, reliability and to connect new customers. Jack Stainton, Ergo’s panel manager says “We’re looking forward to working in close collaboration with Aurora to improve the network infrastructure for the benefit of local communities”.
