We undertook the conceptual and detailed design for improvements to Fonterra’s Lichfield plant. This included the extension of the main 11kV switchboard and existing whey and cheese processing ring-main networks, together with a new ringmain for the dryer.
The conceptual design was developed using an ETAP software model of both the existing network and proposed installations.
Lichfield, first built in 1995, is the Co-op’s second largest cheese plant and houses one of largest dryers in the world.
